Can Anyone Become Psychic?

Psychic powers are defiantly a gift given to people that can be confusing and even frightening at times. Many people wonder if they can actually become psychic, because even though psychic powers can be scary they are also very intriguing to those who do not have them. There are a number of people who wish to have the power to see into the past and the future.

Many average people really want to be able to use their psychic powers to search deeper into the subconscious, and therefore make the conscious effort to become psychic. Then there are psychics who can foresee the future and are able to make predictions, such as those of Nostradamus. Retro cognition is the ability to see into the past. Other terms associated with psychic powers include Second Sight, Clairvoyance and Medium.

Since the time of the ancients, psychic abilities have been recorded; take for instance, the psychic advisors of the Egyptian Kings. Today, when someone is searching for answers in life, they may search for psychic services. People visit with psychics for such answers as finding their inner self, their soul mate or even in order to make the right career choice.

It is true that psychics are born with these powers; however, everyone has the ability to become psychic. Becoming psychic takes a lot of work and one must be willing to take the time to tap into their own subconscious.

The first step that a person should take to become psychic is to clean their own subconscious through meditation. You have to be willing to release your negative thoughts and energy and begin to look at the world in a positive way. If you are full of negativity, you will have a hard time clearly seeing into the subconscious of yourself and others.

When you meditate regularly, you enable yourself to learn more, more about you and others around you. True mediation enables you to better understand your inner strengths. Releasing negative thoughts and energy may seem challenging. However, you can do it and then create a more rewarding life.

Perfect meditation takes time to achieve. In fact, many individuals practice for years before reaching perfect meditation. Begin by practicing meditation daily. Find a comfortable and quite area with no distractions that offers you as sense of positive peace in order to make this connection. You may consider a room that feels serene or doing your meditation at a local park or even just the backyard.

You will focus only on breathing, while pushing away any unwanted thoughts from your mind as you meditate. As you meditate you will leave all thoughts behind as you move inward, tapping into your subconscious mind. While you meditate you are better able to easily sense the surrounding energies.

You may release any negative energy while meditating. Acknowledge your feelings and then focus on your surroundings and the energy vibrations. Imagine your mind as it was before filling it with knowledge. Now, imagine you are feeling and experiencing everything for the very first time in your life.

Once you have achieved perfect meditation, you may notice that you are much more aware of other people thoughts and feelings. When you have become one with the universe, you can begin to tap into your psychic powers.

The use of tarot cards is resourceful for tapping into psychic powers. Tapping into your psychic abilities is much easier while using tarot cards. However, it is essential that the person reading the cards is able to interpret the meanings of the various tarot cards.

With practice and good mediation skills, almost anyone can tap into their psychic abilities. You should however go about it in a positive mindset and use your newfound abilities to make a positive impact on the world around you.

Subconscious Mind Power And The Ancients

October 24th, 2009

Remember when Kevin Costner started hearing voices in the Field of Dreams movie? While his family was struggling to make ends meet, these voices were saying, ‘If you build it they will come.’ Eventually it came to pass that he thought these inner voices were telling him to build a baseball field. This inner voice was his subconscious mind talking.

This subconscious mind power, has the ability to shape your future. It’s a beautiful thing, the power of the fully harnessed mind. It has the power to heal, to transcend, to connect us to other people in the world, even to shape our futures. It’s a beautiful thing that very few people see realized to their full potential.

If you’re still skeptical it’s not like you’re the only person out there. We understand how difficult it is to go from doing something you’re used to everyday to changing the whole thought process. However, it’s important to keep an open mind about the material we’re about to provide. The scientific or medical explanation of subconscious mind power is the Placebo Effect. This is most common when two groups are formed to take medication without knowing who gets the real deal and who gets the placebo.

In absolutely each and every study the control group will provide similar results to the study group. Perhaps not in the same intensity, but you will have people that show improvements or exhibit changes or side effects that the medication can cause. Why is that? It is because they were told what the pill would do, they believed that they were being given the real pill and that they were either going to get better or get the side effects.

Doctors even understand the importance of using the subconscious mind. In fact, next time you go to get a new prescription from your physician, see if he/she tells you about the side effects. Most likely not, because they don’t want to throw out all the negative aspects of taking a pill. Doing so will leave you either not wanting to take it, or ending up with the side effects even if they are unbelievably rare.

The power of suggestion combined with subconscious mind power equals incredibly powerful results. If this works in the medical realm, why can’t it work in the everyday realm of your life? What is preventing you from tapping into your mind power and positively changing your life? Some people use the power of suggestion to change the way their subconscious mind works.

While focusing on your positive thoughts of the inner mind is a good approach, others tend to take a different route. In today’s world it seems that most people turn to using visualization to alter the way their mind sees things. This is can either be done by closing your eyes and picturing it, or see it in the flesh.

We recommend trying the physical picture. A great way to do this is by cutting out a picture of what you want in life. It may be a new car, money, or even your dream home. Then start looking at it everyday. Maybe you place one picture at work, one at home, and one in the car. In doing this you will allow the subconscious mind to take shape and understand what you want next. In time you will be able to make your vision a reality.

While this practice has been known in self help books for centuries, it’s only recently that an attempt at a scientific basis has been built for this.

At subatomic levels matter ceases to be ’solid’ and is shown to be pure energy. Quantum physics has shown beyond doubt that this energy can be manipulated by the mind. In fact as strange as it seems, quantum physics actually shows that this energy can not exist without the mind of the observer.

So matter/energy only exists because it is being observed; in other words it is the mind which is responsible for the matter existing – not the other way around. All matter and hence all reality has been proven to be a creation of our mind. This is the true meaning of ’subconscious mind power’!

Long before our time, ancient religions lived by their understanding of the subconscious mind. Those who were dedicated to their beliefs even transformed the subconscious mind into powers beyond the thought of man. Some may believe its religion, some may believe its science, but in the end just acknowledging that it’s there is important.

So if you could change your life just by thinking about it, wouldn’t you? All you have to do is harness your subconscious mind power. Use it to your advantage instead of letting it control you. Spend the next week using affirmations or visualization techniques to acquire what you want. Make it something small at first and when you see that it works make yourself a new life by developing your subconscious mind power.

Who Discovered Saturn – A Quick Glance

September 17th, 2009

Who discovered Saturn? Did the ancients know this planet or is modern science its first analyst? The truth is that in the antiquity people had a far better knowledge of the sky map than we have today, and it is possible that they were familiar with Saturn by means of primitive telescopes. In fact, Galileo is widely known as the scientist who discovered Saturn in 1610, as in his notes he even wrote a theory about the rings. According to his words, there were some little ears on each side of the planet, and he thought they were globes. Yet, after a while, the white rings were identified and have hold their position as the most spectacular solar system formation ever since.

The analysis of the globes suggested by Galileo started from a confusion he didn’t know how to explain. He was the person who discovered Saturn, but at the same time he thought there were three planets, not one. The clarification of the rings’ presence was provided in 1655 when Christiaan Huygens made the discovery that what Galileo referred to as globes were actually rings, but their structure became apparent twenty years later with the discovery made by Giovanni Domenico Cassini. He was the one to launch the theory that Saturn’s rings were not solid or unitary but, consisting of fragments of different sizes.

Presently we are aware that the rings consist of ice, rocks and other interplanetary remains, which only contributes to underlying the truth of the early theories. Who discovered Saturn then? In conclusion, we have to admit that the discovery of the solar system has been in progress since we’ve started looking at the stars, and we are far from getting to the bottom. Every year seems to bring something new for us to explore: thus, more than forty of Saturn’s moons have become known, some of them with potential conditions to sustain life. Thus the question is not about who discovered Saturn, but what is there more to discover?

The tribute paid to Galileo as the person who discovered Saturn is obvious, but he was not the only one. The probe which sent the the close image of Saturn for the first time was called Cassini after the astronomer who revealed and analyzed the pattern of the rings around this planet. Even so, thousands of people unknown to the public are presently involved in space programs; maybe their names are not written in history, but their effort is just as great and relevant. With every step we take towards knowing our universe, we claim one more victory in the exploration of the unknown.
